French Signed Jacob Daybed
18th Century French painted daybed with pegged construction, down mattress, signed on underside, G. Iacob. Georges Jacob was the originator of the famous cabinet maker family who made furnishings for the Kings of France. Georges worked from 1765 to 1796. Height of seat is 18”.
